What is a comfort zone
A comfort zone is a psychological state in which things feel familiar to a person and they are at ease and (perceive they are) in control of their environment, experiencing low levels of anxiety and stress. In this zone, a steady level of performance is possible.
Why is it important to step out of your comfort zone
Stepping out of your comfort zone is important because it will let you live life at its fullest. It will help you mature and grow as an individual. It does not have to be done through a crazy plan, simple works just fine. Get started with simple steps and a gradual plan

In comfort zone one always feels safe and controlled because one doesn’t want to take
any risk, one tries to save oneself from difficulties and avoid taking any challenges. In
such situations one’s mind always makes you feel comfort and that's why it’s called
Comfort Zone.
The situations and the environment one get’s are familiar.
One will never get stressed and anxious in a comfort zone but a minimum level of stress
is necessary which leads to one’s growth
Fear Zone
If one is suddenly asked to give a presentation in front of a team and the one who’s
been asked to do so, has neither done this before, nor has the one has ever given a
speech in a gathering, in such a situation the one is in a dilemma and there is a
possibility that one gets sleepless night before the presentation, this is the clear sign
of the fear zone. One is in great fear and in a dilemma that one’s presentation doesn’t
get spoilt. In this case you will have a low self confidence and one starts thinking about
others opinions about what people will say about them. Moreover there is a possibility
that one’s stress level and fear increases to such a level that one is unable to give the
presentation. In fact the one starts giving excuses that one is unwell, that one’s
presentation is not prepared well or that slides are not prepared

Learning zone
If one controls the fear factor and determines that what one has intended or decided to
do has to be done by the one, and then actual magic happens, When one crosses the
fear zone, one lands in learning zone, one starts to grasp things, one starts to develop
some new habits, one makes one’s mind to face the challenges. If one is asked to give
a presentation, and the person concerned has never given a presentation, but one is
determined that he/she will lead his team and takes it as an opportunity. In such a case
one and accepted a challenge. So whatever the problem one is facing, like if

dreams. One tries to fulfill one’s decided goal, and one actually fulfills his/her goals.
One is accountable and slowly but steadily achieves success
Hence this is the power of the growth zone.
