Think less and think right
Who is the one that has to cross every scene in life?
It is me, that means I, Who creates our relationships, it’s me, Who is
influencing our health, it’s me, Who is taking care of our work or business,
it’s me, If there’s a challenge in the workplace or business, who will handle
it, it’s me If there’s an issue in the family, who will take care, it’s me It’s
like we have a certain thing which will do every task in our life, me Everything
is going to happen from the “I” But that “I” is saying- I don’t have time for
myself It’s like you have something which will do every task in your life
Everything. Name anything in your life and “I” has to do it. How much should we
prioritize that “I”?
What happens when we are physically present for some work but mentally not
When we are physically present for work, but our mind still lingers at something
that happened earlier. Hence, our mind at any point of time is doing multiple
tasks. If someone says something to me, I need to finish that matter with one
thought. I should be able to think- So what if he said it? It won’t make a
difference to me. Instead today I’m creating 10 thoughts. How could they say it,
why did they say it, no matter how hard I work, they keep saying such things. We
kept on thinking. How many thoughts were we supposed to spend on that matter?
Just one. How many do we give away?
Hence the ability of the mind to create a right thought depletes
The task which is supposed to finish in one thought, it is getting stretched to
days, months, years. Now the effect of this present situation will affect our
next situation, and it will go on and on and on. Hence the energy of this scene
will go to the next scene. Are we at a right thought at that moment of our life?
Is my state of mind my choice or dependent on the situation?
A circumstance arose, in this circumstance we got slightly disturbed. There were
two things- One was the situation and the other was my state of mind. Our
approach should be, No matter what the circumstance we are facing at the
present. We should learn to practice that our state of mind should not waver
depending on the circumstances. We should learn to remain calm, composed and
stable in the same situation.
Is it difficult or possible to remain calm in times of crisis
It is indeed difficult to remain calm, composed and stable in adverse
circumstances The task of thinking right. If situations are not in our favour,
still if we maintain the stability and peace of our mind, then we are on the
track of thinking less and thinking right. This task. involves two steps:- *It
is difficult *It is possible At least, we admit it’s possible, it is the biggest
thing. Whether it is difficult or easy, it is a secondary thing We can always
think less and think right.
Difference in opinion in people who think less and right and others
The notion which normally people assume that, “Anything can happen, anytime” -
This thought depletes the power of our mind and our brain.
Now let’s check this equation
“They did like that, so I got worried”
“They did not complete the task, so I got
angry”
“Traffic was so high, I got irritated”
“My child was ill, so obviously I
was worried”
A person who thinks less and thinks right takes things in another way
He will say, “No matter how much traffic there is, mind is stable” “My child is
unwell, but I’m stable “They did not complete my advised task, I’m stable”
“Somebody said, something insulting or hurting, it shows their nature, still I’m
stable”
Is it possible to live like this?
Our situation is the same, whether in the office, home front, children falling
ill, or our bosses yelling at us due to some reason. It depends on us how we
take and respond to the circumstances we are currently facing.
Conclusion
To be happy, hail and hearty in life we should develop a habit of letting go in
life. We should think less on trivial matters in life, which in fact lead to big
matters.
