Keep Your Faith Intact when it's challenging

What is the meaning of the word “Faith”

The literal meaning of faith is 'Complete trust or confidence in someone or something".

It can also be taken as a strong belief in the doctrines of a religion, based on spiritual conviction rather than proof. "Bereaved people who have shown supreme faith".

What is faith in the real sense

Real faith co
mes as an invitation freely given, that cannot be coerced or manipulated, but can only be freely received with the cooperation of human reason. Faith is centered in love for God, so it strives to act as God wills and is, therefore, manifested in more than just words but also in actions.

Faith has two basic meanings: The first is complete confidence in a person or plan, etc., and the second is a strong belief in a supernatural power or powers that control human destiny.

It is helpful to consider the components of faith (variously recognised and emphasised in different models of faith) as falling into three broad categories: the effective, the cognitive and the practical

Healthy and Safe Ways to Live Out Your Faith Each Day

•Begin Each Day with Morning Prayer or Meditation. ...

•Read Religious Books Verses During Regular Nature Walks. ...

•Participate in Small Group Study Sessions. ...

                           What is Faith in Friendship

A faithful friend is loyal and steadfast — it's no wonder that many people consider their dogs to be their most faithful companions. Though faithful usually describes a person, you can also use it to talk about a particularly reliable object, like your faithful hiking boots.

                          Faith on your trustworthy people

Indeed, for most of us, trust is something that needs to be earned. It's not haphazardly doled out like free t-shirts at a sporting event. People need to prove that they deserve our confidence before we're ready and willing to hand it over.

That can be the tough part -- proving yourself as trustworthy. Fortunately, taking a cue from the habits of people who immediately inspire a high degree of confidence can help you not only earn more trust, but deserve it. Here's what trustworthy people do differently.

How to keep your faith intact when it's challenging

Here are five ways I try to keep faith when it seems impossible:

•Pray, ask God, the universe, or whatever higher force you believe in for the strength to love to your full potential. ...

•Be generous to others. ...

•Get inspired. ...

•Surround yourself with people you admire. ...

•Get the ball rolling first thing in the morning.

The strongest, most inspiring people in history are the ones who chose to love regardless of their circumstances. What gives some people the ability to love where others fail? Faith. Faith is the decision to love, no matter the circumstances. And the more you choose love, the greater your faith will grow.

1). Pray.

Ask God, the universe, or whatever higher force you believe in for the strength to love to your full potential. I try to keep an open dialogue with the source of all love to guide me through difficult times.

2. Be generous to others.

Sometimes the greatest strength we can receive comes through helping others in need. Love is always there for us to draw upon, and it’s easiest for me to see when I decide to share it freely with others.

3. Get inspired

Let inspiration help you stay connected through faith. When I'm feeling hopeless, I read about the lives of people who’ve demonstrated faith in amazing ways.

4. Surround yourself with people you admire.

We are how we spend our time. So if you want to walk the path of faith, pave it with as many faithful people as you can. I choose friends who refuse to settle in their relationships and careers and who challenge me to love like it’s my last day on earth. (Finding this type of friends has been hard. Focusing on being that kind of friend has helped)

5. Get the ball rolling first thing in the morning.

First thing in the morning, I carve out 10 minutes to meditate on faith, and ask for everything I need to love like crazy. That starts my day with the momentum I need to make even the hardest decisions.

              Conclusion

Faith is the decision to love when it seems impossible. And if you’re anything like me, you sometimes wake up with the weight of the world on your shoulders. Rather than give in and settle for less, set a daily intention to love—no matter how hard it may be.

  1. It's a good attempt but its all theoretical Shuchi except the 2nd point. If we just become generous in everything we do, it will change our destiny, bring devotion in our lives and please God.

    3. Theory can't lead to knowledge. It can only waste your time and add to ignorance. Being a seeker is the only option.

    4. This is in response to comments by unknown on 15 October 2021 - Theoretical knowledge is to be applied to make it practical. Where corruption is prevalent, one cannot say that honesty is just theoretical and not viable. Theory doesn’t lead to knowledge but itself a product of knowledge. If your logic is applied then all self help books would be a waste of time! It’s a beautiful article and you might need to read it again.

  2. Always garnish your faith with the power of your wisdom. If you put faith on a snake trusting it a rope then you pass quickly, and are gone. Complete faith is good but it needs the wisdom of your heart.God rejects those who have no faith. Faith is a protecting shield provided it is not blind.
Shuchi, you are a ingenious writer.
    I pray for your good.
