 What is actually letting go of things

It is the act of detaching yourself from unpleasant, meaningless or harmful thoughts and feelings. In this process, you free yourself from emotional burdens and stop taking things personally. In this process, you remove from your life anything that keeps you in the past and which does not let you move forward

Being conscious of needing to be in the moment is the key to mindful living.           When you find yourself thinking about the future or past, stop and take a few deep breaths to help you recenter yourself in the moment. Look at your surroundings and remind yourself to live in the present. Learn to live in this moment

Here are ways that you can express your forgiveness: Tell the person that you forgive them. Call the person up or ask to meet with her in person. Take the opportunity to tell her that you are no longer holding a grudge and that you forgive her for breaking the promise made to you

Trying to live up to people's expectations

Put the expectations in perspective. Remember that someone else's expectation of you is theirs, not yours—and therefore it is their problem, not yours

Check your own expectations of others. Cultivate your inner voice. Begin saying what you will.

          Something theoretical and very important to let go of things

In the initial stages of mental ill health, it is just a question of a little bit of friction, when the friction happens continuously, something breaks down. When it is broken down, then fixing is a humongous task, but ensuring that there was not much friction, is a much easier and better thing to do.

Mental health is the last thing that you should be concerned about, at this stage of your life, but it comes visiting, else it is self invited. If you keep the scope of your life limited, let’s say your education, your profession, your family. Then maybe a maximum number of things start happening your way, even if a small amount of, doesn't happen.

          How profound or how exuberant is your experience of life?

As Sadhguru says,”My blessing usually for people is, let something happen in your life that you could not dream of”. 

Did you make yourselves fit for life?  That is what is wrong. Are you fit for this world or not? This is happening all the time. We are a volunteer organisation, millions of volunteers, lots of things happening around the world, big movements. But none of them are qualified for the job. Just whoever comes fills the space. If you want to find something horrible, you can find something horrible in everybody. Just in everyone, without exception. If you think, you are doing is significant, learn to work with such horrible people.

                    How to let go off things

At this stage in your life, don’t produce a list of complaints about what’s wrong, produce a list of solutions, to your life and everybody’s life around you. That would be the forward moment. If you invest in your problems, you will see that everything in this universe is a problem, If you go on hitting people on their problem end, you will have endless problems in your life. Hence, whosoever you encounter in life, learn how to touch the solution part of them, not the trouble part of them. This goes with situations, this goes with people and this goes with every aspect of life. 

                How to focus on yourselves

  1. Indulge in your favourite activities.

  2. Learn a new hobby or skill.

  3. Confront fear of the unknown.

  4. Spend more time outdoors.

  5. Start journaling.

  6. Meditate.

  7. Practice weekly self-care.

  8. Practice self-compassion.
