Viewing movies with sex, violence, drug abuse, adult themes, and offensive language can hurt children and adolescents. Many movies are not appropriate for children. Older children and adolescents may copy risky and possibly dangerous things they see in movies.

I don't agree that films are corrupting the Indian youth because films produce useful messages. Every film has a unique message. It depends on the person in which way he takes that message. There are so many movies which realise the importance of parents, friends and our nation etc.

                        How do movies affect teenage behaviour?

Watching violent movies can also cause increased aggressive behaviour that can lead to problems down the road in terms of getting into and even finishing high school. Movies are fiction and teens need to understand that movies should not be the basis for their decisions.
