What is compulsiveness

Compulsiveness comes from ingrained memory of what extent it dominates, which will decide how compulsive you are. Don't try to counter it, don't try to forcefully beat it. What the spiritual process means is to create awareness, to become conscious in such a way that we overwrite the memory.


What is a compulsive behaviour 

In today's world, humanity suffers from various kinds of issues, like addictions and compulsive issues. Being addicted to substances, alcohol, nicotine, caffeine, and various other aspects of life. These addictions and compulsive behaviour can lead to psychological pits like depression and manic depression.

All these things, essentially what it means is- that in some way, we are not able to make use of the discretionary dimension of who we are. 


What is expected from a human being

To be human essentially means, that though we have our instincts, though we have our needs, a human being is capable of using his or employing his discretionary mind in such powerful ways, that he can go beyond the fundamental needs of life. Discretion means that we can conduct our life the way we want them. Not the way we are compelled by the situations in which we exist or the chemistry of our body or other kinds of influences upon us. Going beyond our chemistry, going beyond our genetics, going beyond the situations in which we exist as, human beings 


How to avoid negative thoughts 

Don't avoid any negative thoughts. Because it's just a thought. If you think it’s just a thought, it wouldn't affect you. If you think of it as a reality, it will destroy you. 

What is negative is happening unconsciously. A whole lot of people have destroyed themselves trying to stop those thoughts that they think are negative.

And they try to fight them in so many different ways. 


You create negative thoughts and then you fight then

It's your thought, you must be able to throw it and roll it and roll it back when you need it. But right now, your ghosts have become so big that you want to fight them. If you win, you are lost. Because something that is not true if you fight against it, you have lost it, isn't it? Hence, there's nothing like positive and negative thoughts. 

How to remove negative thoughts 

You identified yourself with something that you aren't. Now you can't stop your thought process. Do what you want. You do any mantra you want. Think of any God you want. Do whatever the hell you want.

The moment you identify yourself with someone you are not, you cannot stop your mind


How to overcome the compulsions 

What you call as compulsive generally, people only recognize compulsive physical behaviour. Somebody's addicted to drinking, somebody is addicted to something else, somebody is compulsively abusive, or something else negative that they cannot avoid doing.


Everybody has compulsive patterns

Compulsiveness is coming from ingrained memory. You can call it genetics, you can call it karmic, and you can call it by many other names. But essentially memory has taken over your life. 


Why do we need a spiritual process to combat OCD 

What the spiritual process means is to create awareness, to become conscious in such a way, that we overwrite the memory, not just in small levels of compulsiveness of behaviour. But in the very compulsiveness of life, which has to go through a cyclical process of life and death.


What is the ultimate compulsion 

To beat the ultimate compulsion is the longing to be born and the inevitable process of life and death.

Hence, essentially compulsive means something going cyclical. You are not able to beat the cyclical movement that's happening within you, either psychologically, emotionally or energy-wise, or physically in your behavioural pattern.

Maybe you are noticing only the behavioural patterns.


Life is a fine game 

To fulfil certain situations, we create certain patterns, but the pattern can be conscious. It may be a rigid pattern, but a conscious pattern for some time to fulfil certain situations. But it need not become a part of our system. 

Genetic influence causes compulsive behaviour. This is like the light and darkness business.

You don't fight with the darkness, that will be foolish.

Compulsiveness is an expression of a lack of consciousness. If you become more conscious, compulsive patterns will disappear. 

If you fight darkness, you are in an endless fight
